Mission Trip: Dominican Republic

God has presented me with the opportunity to go on a mission trip in a few short weeks. April 2nd I will be boarding a bus to Miami, FL, from there we will be getting on a plane and be on our way to the Dominican Republic.
We will be building 2 or 3 churches and hosting a VBS (Vacation Bible School) for the young children. This is going to take a lot of strength and courage. It will be everyone getting along and coming along side each other to let this happen. To put our differences aside and to trust God with what He is going to show us.
As you can imagine this is something that needs a lot of financial support and prayer support. Without prayer little to noting could happen. God's hands are all in this and I can feel Him moving. During the week we will be helping people materially and spiritually. On April 9th we will be on our way back from hopefully making an impact on the people's life's.

Lindsey And Emilie Halloween

Emilie & I went Trick or Treating on Halloween yes I know I'm a little old but I love and will do it till I'm like 18. got so much candy it's ridiculous! We had lots of fun though she spent the night here and we ate lots of candy and watched Confessions of a Shopaholic. The next day we went to church and when we came back we had this brigh idea to have our pictures taken throwing the candy in the air and laying in it! Throwing!Laying in it! :)

I have the most amazing friends in the world! When i first moved here I was like I'm not going to like this cause i don't know anyone here and I'm truly thankful for all the people that prayed for me and was there to make sure that i was comfortable and knew people I'm so so glad i met each and everyone of you and to know that y'all love God so much makes it even better one of my good friends "Lindsey B" you can truly tell God has GREAT plans for her!!! as he does for all of us
